They became the club's shirt sponsor in 2016 and signed a three-year deal with the club. The sponsorship included the SportPesa logo emblazoned on Hull City's home and away shirts, along with other branding throughout the team's stadium, digital and print advertising, and other media assets. However, after the expiration of the three-year deal, Hull City had to find a new sponsor. The club has also had previous sponsors, including betting companies 12Bet and 188Bet, and telecom company Motherson Communication.
